The Grundfos UPA 15-90 N is a small stainless steel circulator pump designed for BOOSTING EXISTING WATER PRESSURE in domestic properties, can also be used to provide ADDITIONAL BOOSTING PRESSURE to Overhead or gravity fed hot and cold water taps and similar outlet points.

The Grundfos UPA 25-120 is a canned rotor type, here the pump and motor form an integral unit without shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid.

Applications

• Domestic applications requiring high pressure in taps, showers, gas boiler inlets and other domestic tapping points:
• Roof top tank boosting (downward firing like in a roof SOLAR WATER HEATER SYSTEM)
• Instant (tank-less) water heater boosting, also called a HEATER PUMP
• Domestic boosting with EXISTING inlet pressure
• Suitable for hot and cold water applications. Temperatures up to 95 C.
• Capable of boosting water in multiple outlets at a time (1-4 taps) making it suitable for flats with a shared water supply and for one-family houses: –
• Urban areas with low water pressure at peak demand – Joined housing units sharing low-pressure water supply
• Rural areas with low water pressure
